    Hi
I’ve looked through the support pages and saw that someone else had this issue – and it is due to an anti-spam measure. However, we often subscribe our customers to our newsletters on their behalf when they are on the phone and our staff are constantly coming up against this issue

Is there a way we can decrease the amount of time before an email can be re-submitted, or perhaps white list an IP address to remove this restriction since it would just be our IP doing this multiple times in a few minutes.

I ask as whilst clearing the cache and using incognito has done allowed it to happen a few times, it’s frustrating to keep on doing this, where a feature such as allowing a specific IP to be ignored by the anti spam measure seems like a prudent feature to add.

    What do you think?

    Regards

    Stuart

  • Hi Stuart,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Yes, we can whitelist IP as well.

Another option is you can add contact from Email Subscribes > Audience section. Such that only authorised person can add contact. Isn’t a good option?

We are not checking IP address if you are logged into WordPress. So, if you are logged in as administrator into WordPress, there is no such restriction of IP.

Hope that help you to solve your issue.

Hello and thanks for the reply

Adding email subscribers via the backend isn’t something we want to give to our standard support users.
How do I white list our IP’s so we are not restricted?

    Hi Stuart,

Aha ok. Your support user is adding contact.

At this moment, there is no such option to whitelist IP. We will work on it and make this feature available very soon.

We will update you as soon as this feature is available.

    Thanks!
