After updating Woocommerce from version 3 to version 4, I got the error: “You need a higher level of permission” if I try to go to the order or coupon pages. I have a user with administrator rights. I also tried working with shop manager rights. Nothing helps.

In addition, when I open the dashboard, I see constant 403 errors in the Chrome developer console like:

    Request URL: MYDOMAIN/wp-json/wc-analytics/orders?_fields%5B0%5D=id&page=1&per_page=1&status%5B0%5D=processing&status%5B1%5D=on-hold&_locale=user
    Request Method: GET
    Status Code: 403 Forbidden

I checked rights to the folders and files. All of them are correct.

    Nginx
    Wordpress 5.5
    Woocommerce 4.4.1

    What should I do?

So, I don’t understand what happened, but after I went in and looked at the traffic history in the Wordfence plugin, everything worked for me. Although I tried disabling the Wordfence plugin before and it didn’t help.
