• Hi,
I have this message when I try to edit a template with Elementor:

Sorry, the content area was not found in your page.
You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.

As per the Elementor documentation, when I eliminated all other possible sources, this seems to be a theme related issue. I tried with the Twenty Twenty-One theme and I am able to edit the template. I tried to switch to Hello (not the child theme) but also got the message.
I tried to reinstall the theme but it didn’t work either.

Is there a way for me to add this ‘the_content’ function to the template?
Am I the only one with this issue?

    Thanks.

    Hello,
Is there any support on this theme?
Should I try and use another one?
    Regards

    Hi,

Could you let me know which type of page are you trying to edit?
Is it an archive wp page by any chance? for example blog archive page (WP) – set as a recent posts page?
Or a default Woocommerce page by any chance?
