"You must be logged in to comment"

Alright, so, I’ve got my own private blog where I just make posts for a small group of friends. I’d like two things on my blog that I don’t currently have.

1) The ability to choose your own password on registration. I know this is supposed to be bad for spam, but I have a very secure password to access the site without even logging in.

2) At the end of a post/page, where it says “You must be logged in to comment. Log in?”, I’d like to find the part of wp-admin.php (in editor or the UI itself) where I can change this text. I can’t seem to find it.

If anyone can help me with any of these, it would be greatly appreciated. Apologies for no link to the website, as I said before, I wouldn’t like more attention to my site, as it is, as mentioned before, a private site for my close friends and family only.
