    Hi Guys and Girls,

    Please help,

    I’m new here and so I have looked around quite a bit, but I can’t seem to find the real answer to my error.

    Then I click on the “view Site” button I get the following from my provider “You merely have to replace the file “index.html” or overwrite” (translated from German)
    I have deleted it and don’t know how to go further. I’m a noob…. ??

    I have already posted 2 tests in the wordpress window (and pressed the blue publish button), but can’t see them when clicking on the site name. My installation was successful, the wizard told me that all was good after going through the 5 min install.

  • Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.
