  • Hi,

    I clik on the update and nothing happens, can not initiate a scan.

    When this warning is clicked:
    Your site is using out of date definitions. Click here to connect to Malcure API Server for a thorough scan →
    nothing happens.

    Can not change files per rq.

    Inititate DeepScan button is inactive.

    Wordfence is switched off.

    What shall I do, please?

    The core WordPress files need to be reinstalled, specifically the wp-admin and wp-includes folders. This will get JavaScript working and you’ll be able to use the plugin.

    Many thanks for your blazing fast reply on weekend!

    I installed Malcure on my other WP site – with Wordfence on – and it updated the definitions and started to run fine.

    By reinstalling you mean I just click on the “Re-install version 6.2.2″-en_US”, pls?

    Find out your existing WordPress version. Download the same to your pc, extract and using an FTP client upload wp-admin and wp-includes folder overwriting the previous ones.
