I have a problem here. I receive an update for the FREE version of Yoast right now.

I have the Premium installed but this is an update for the free version only. And there is something wrong – this is the text I receive with the update:

You have version 10.1.2 installed. Update to 10.1.2.

    See the attached link.

I started updating and finished it successfully, but it keeps popping up and wants me to update the same version all over again?

Is it you (Yoast) or here I should find the problem?

I use an updated version of WordPress in Chrome browser.

    Best regards

If you clear your cache (server, plugin/theme, browser, or CDN such as Cloudflare) does this resolve the issue with the available update repeatedly appearing after having already installed the update? If you are not sure how to clear your server cache you should speak with your host provider. We have information on how to clear your browser cache at the following link: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

I have the same issue, on a basic shared hosting site with no cache.

Yoast SEO Premium is also installed and active, but appears as 10.1.1 and no update has appeared for it yet. Its accompanying Yoast SEO plugin deactivated itself and remains in an update loop (upgrade from 10.1.2 to 10.1.2). Will not Activate.

Tried downloading the plugin from here and uploading it manually to the plugins folder – same result. Tried deleting plugin and re-downloading through wp-admin. Same result.

I should note that I manage several sites and most of the updates went in just fine. The difference with this one appears to be that it uses Yoast SEO Premium.

Add three more cases, I see same issue on my 3 domains.

How can I get premium support?

This thread has been marked as resolved per the forum guidelines.

To be fair, the issue is NOT with the unmentionable version of this plugin, it appears to be with the FREE version, which is why people are posting about it here.

    EDIT:
Found in your docs that the free version is not required to run in tandem. Good to know. Thanks.
