  • I have the same problem. I’ve installed on a few sites and it really is a fantastic plugin! For some reason it’s not working on one site I have – I’m assuming this is a hosting issue as all of the others have been fine. Is there anything I need to check with the hosting company to make sure everything is configured as it should be?

    Thanks

All the installations are at the same hosting company, that′s the funny part..
I can see that the catalog “PLUGINS” is never backed up. Perhaps something to do with a bad plugin, i dont know.. By the way, the problemsite have the WP ecommerce installed. Perhaps something to do with that plugin ??

When you run into this kind of issue, the best thing to do is to ensure that wp-cron is working by scheduling a blog posts.

If your future post does not publish then you need to investigate why the wp-cron is not working.

    Hi Mikey

Cron is working – tested it with a scheduled post as suggested.

I’ve been able to narrow down the problem a little bit now. The backup will run if I’m logged in to the site. If I’m logged out – nothing.

The strange thing is the backup will run by itself without having to have someone logged in if the backup doesn’t contain anything new?

Very odd but still one of my favourite plugins.
