Right in the middle of my doing a major clean up my WordPress website (deleting old information/posts, merging posts, etc.), while editing my 29th post, when I clicked on the Preview button (to view changes made before accepting them), I received the following on the preview page:

“You have been banned from this site.
If you think there has been a mistake, please contact the administrator via proxy server.”

After contacting my host and being informed that it was not at their end this was happening, I Googled the prompt and discovered this comes from your plugin. Once disabled I was able to access the Preview mode of my posts once more.

Is there a means of preventing your plugin from banning me from conducting major cleaning like this?

If not, I will simply disable your plugin while conducting any sort of major editing in the future.

    Thank you in advance,
    Trish

Hey, hey, hey. I resolved this alllll by myself :-))

Go to the plugin Settings, added my IP address to the Whitelisted IPs, making sure to add a comma before adding my IP address, scrolled down and clicked on the Save Changes button… and it worked, I can now Preview my posts once again!

Awesome, glad you got it sorted.

Also just FYI, when you first install and activate Blackhole (free or pro version), the plugin automatically adds your current IP address and your server IP address to the Whitelist setting. So unless your IP changes, the plugin handles this for you automatically out of the box.

    Cheers!
