Can’t login with admin privileges. Getting the “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” error. Have disabled all plugins. Have removed all themes other than 2014. Have contacted GoDaddy support who says it’s a WP issue, pointing to the fact that they believe a plug-in has corrupted the database, but say everything is fine on their site. Noticed that there is an error log with the following errors:

    [11-Nov-2014 03:51:12 UTC] WordPress database error Got error 28 from storage engine for query SELECT t.*, tt.* FROM wp_terms AS t INNER JOIN wp_term_taxonomy AS tt ON tt.term_id = t.term_id INNER JOIN wp_term_relationships AS tr ON tr.term_taxonomy_id = tt.term_taxonomy_id WHERE tt.taxonomy IN ('events_categories') AND tr.object_id IN (625508) ORDER BY t.name ASC made by require('wp-blog-header.php'), require_once('wp-includes/template-loader.php'), include('/themes/customizr/index.php'), do_action('__after_article_container'), call_user_func_array, TC_sidebar->tc_sidebar_display, get_sidebar, locate_template, load_template, require_once('/themes/customizr/sidebar-right.php'), dynamic_sidebar, call_user_func_array, WP_Widget->display_callback, Ai1ec_View_Admin_Widget->widget, Ai1ec_Calendar_View_Agenda->get_agenda_like_date_array, Ai1ec_Calendar_View_Abstract->_add_runtime_properties, Ai1ec_View_Event_Taxonomy->get_color_style, Ai1ec_Taxonomy->get_post_categories, Ai1ec_Taxonomy->get_post_taxonomy, wp_get_post_terms, wp_get_object_terms, W3_Db->query, W3_DbCache->query, W3_DbCallUnderlying->query, W3_Db->query, W3_DbProcessor->query, W3_Db->default_query

This occurs many times with the past couple of weeks. If this is a database corruption issue, what’s the best way to restore/repair it. Can I use a fresh WP install and then import posts or…

Please advise. I’m a volunteer for our civic club and this problem has been occurring for a couple of weeks. Due to my day job, this is the first chance I’ve had to address it. The website is processing fine, but nobody can log-in to update content. I’m not that versed with backend stuff, but I have a son who helps me.

    Thanks.

    a few questions to start…..

do you have a recent FULL (database and files) backup of your website?

what plugins do you have installed?

do you have a highly customized theme?

do you have access to the website via FTP or file manager cPanel via GoDaddy?

    Thanks for the questions content.

do you have a recent FULL (database and files) backup of your website?

I have 7 days worth of backups, but all of them are returning the same result. I also have made a complete backup of the site as of yesterday.

what plugins do you have installed?

We have a number of plugins installed, but I can’t currently tell you which are active and which are not since I can’t log in. As a general rule, we have w3 total cache, a calendar plugin for our events (All in one event calendar), PTA Member Directory, PTA SMTP Mailer, Another WordPress Classifieds Plugin, and either Wordfence or wp-spamshield. There are a number of others like google analytics, facebook, ewww image optimizer, askimet. However, I’m not sure which of those are currently active or are inactive. As mentioned in my original post, we’ve disabled all of the plugins, and the problem persists. We’ve also backed out all themes (to 2014 only) and the problem persists.

do you have a highly customized theme?

No, using the Customizr theme with a child theme for minimal css updates.

do you have access to the website via FTP or file manager cPanel via GoDaddy?

Website is functional, just can’t login with admin privileges. Yes we have access via FTP AND cPanel via GoDaddy.

Tried GoDaddy support, which, as seems to be common, was useless after over an hour online with them. They are blaming the issues on WP.

    [ No bumping please. ]
