You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

  • I installed WordPress, through the scripts provided at the cpanel but when i try to log in using my administrator user and password, i get this msg “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
    How can i fix it??

    i see there are so many topics like this… why nobody tries to fix this problem? … i’ve tried force-upgrade.php and it didnt helped.. anything else?

    I just tried a clean install of wordpress on my win 2k3 server and after I installed wordpress and try to log in as an administrator I get this message. Does anyone have steps / things to look at and examine?

    I’m having the same issue. Trying the suggested fixes isn’t working. I ran the force upgrade, and I was able to get into the dashboard, but was unable to access any of the other functions (e.g., comment management, post creation, etc.). Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
