I run a large MultiSite and 5 of the sites have activated and use Tablepress. Recently it’s been reported that no-one can get to the Tablepress menu options. The menu item is still there but clicking any sub-link brings up a page that says: “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

I searched this forum and found and followed the various steps suggested for this problem. I tried deleting Tablepress and re-installing it. I installed the Members plugin and granted access to all table-press options. I created a new user as Admin and gave it all the permissions. Same error. So I deleted Members and re-installed Tablepress. So far nothing has worked.

I would think that despite permissions settings I should be able to get to the options as Super-Admin, but same error for me. Please advise!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

If you even get this error message for a Superadmin, there must be something else that inferferes. Can you reproduce this issue with all other plugins deactivated and after switching to a WordPress default theme like TwentySeventeen?

TablePress is being used on very many Multisite installations (in fact, tablepress.org is one), and it’s working fine there.

    Tobias

Same problem here. Twentyfifteen basic theme with almost no plugins active. medium multisite installation, installed and activated plug-in, can’t get in tablepress “You do not have sufficient permissions”. tried User Role Editor and turned on:
    edit_others_tablepress_tables
    edit_tablepress_tables
    publish_tablepress_tables
    read_private_tablepress_tables
    tablepress_access_about_screen
    tablepress_access_options_screen
    tablepress_add_tables
    tablepress_copy_tables
    tablepress_delete_tables
    tablepress_edit_options
    tablepress_edit_tables
    tablepress_export_tables
    tablepress_import_tables
    tablepress_import_tables_wptr
    tablepress_list_tables
for administrators and I am superadmin of network.
Still can’t get into table press…

    Hi,

if your users all have these permissions, everything from TablePress perspective is correct. Otherwise, you wouldn’t even see the menu entry.
There must be some other plugin interfering here.

    Regards,
    Tobias
