  • Hey graffig,

Without further detail I am assuming you are talking about attempting to access the plugin’s settings which can be done by going to your WordPress Dashboard – Facebook Feed – Customize – which then allows you to choose any of the different customization tabs such as (General, Post Layout, Typography, Misc, and Custom Translate/Text) which offer additional settings under each tab.

If this is the case then the problem you are experiencing would not be caused by the plugin itself as it has no “permission / access” features or restrictions built into it. You may be facing some type of WordPress “user” restriction or not logged in as an “administrator” to the WordPress program?

There may also be the possibility that there is another plugin installed that controls user privileges or access to plugins and the ability to modify, install, activate, deactivate or delete plugins.

Can you submit a request through our support page here which will let you send your plugin’s system info and site URL privately and we can dig deeper as to what might be the source of what you are experiencing?

    Hi David,
Many thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

You are right, I think it must be a permissions issue! No idea why this is happening on this new install of WP as using all my standard plugins and child theme.

Had the same issue with another plugin – I’ll dive deeper and find out what causing this issue

Once again, many thanks for getting back to me- I’m going to update to the pro version for the client site, however I wanted to check it was nothing to do with the plugin first.

    Kind regards

    Darron

    Hey Darron,

If the same issue also is occurring with another plugin then most definitely there is a “permissions” issue somewhere within either your WordPress settings or an installed plugin that can provide additional “permissions” controls.

Best of luck. If it is something unique then please post the solution here so others may benefit from your experience as well.
