You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page

  • Hello folks! ??

    So, I am getting this error while I am trying to get into settings of some plugins – Infinite Slider and Jetpack. The error is “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” I don’t know what to do. Please help.

    You should look into the application database for more detail, and more specifically at the wp_options table and the wp_user_roles entry in it, which is the one regarding user permissions.

    You should verify that this tables has not been modified and especially for the administrator user. You may consider to copy a default wp_user_roles entry from the new installation, after which the administrator user would properly able to access all options in the backend.
