I installed Jet Pack 3.1.1. When clicking on Setting I get: ” You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” and I’m Login as Administrator.
Them I tried to connect to to WordPress.com and I get:” Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible
Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 406]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: https://jetpack.me/support/”

I know that it’s not a server issue since I have hosted in the same server many other websites with Jetpack and works fine. I check file permission and are all set to 755 (same as other working website)

I also deactivate the rest of the plugins and change the theme to the default Twenty Fourteen without results

I’m running out of options here so any help will be highly appreciated

    Thanks to all

    Thanks!

I had the same problem! I disabled ITHEME SECURITY and tried again. It activated instantly and then I reactivated ITHEMES, all is well!
