  • This error message can be caused by many things, but my initial inclination would be to check your wp-config.php file.

    Thanks. I think I found the problem. It was with the wp-frontend-user plug in. When I updated my to the latest version of s2member, I think it conflicted with the front-end user plug in. I’ve removed the plugin and switched to a better one (profile-builder).
