• Hi!

I upgraded to WordPress 2.6 last week, and everything was working fine until today.
When I tried to access my blog today I got this message:

“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”

I have done nothing to my database, so I really don’t understand what the problem is.. I have never experienced any trouble with the login as Admin on my blog before..
It′s always a good idea to try a fresh install of wordpress, so I did that. Many times..

I′m not much of a programmer, so please help me! ??

I have also cleared my cache in my browsers, but still no magic..

I have removed all my plugins, and many other things, so I don′t know what to do next..

I really wonder what I’m missing in my search for faults on my blog..

I have tried searched through numerous other posts with the same error, here on the forums, but I suspect that it might be other reasons here..

    Anybody with a clue?

That error message is a generic one which appears when your Role does not have the correct Capability to access the page that you’re trying to access.

Are you the administrator of the blog? Have you tried logging in as the “admin” user?

Yes, I’m the administrator of the blog. The problem is when I try to log in as the “admin”, then the site show this error…
When I look in the database I have access to the 10th level.

having the same issue fisken, did you find a fix?

@fisken: what did you end up doing, or have you done anything yet?
