To make a long story short, I am working on this site, and I notice that they have a few out of date plugins that needed to be updated so I tried to update them. One of them was the WooCommerce 2.2.11, I tried to update to the WooCommerce 2.5.5 however, there theme is to far out of date, that it would not work with the pluging. It is a customized theme and it can’t be updated because they had a falling out with the developer. When I reinstalled WoCommerce 2.2.11 I now get this error when I try to preview changes to an already publish page.

You do not have permission to preview drafts.

I think the problem is that the plugin is not redirecting to the right url address. The site is https secured and when I try to view the page with this plugin activated it takes me to a non secure url address.

    adrress.
When this plugin is deactivated the preview change button works but it takes me to a secure url address.

I was just wondering if there is any way to fix this error.
The site address is https://www.silverlingingherbs.com and we are running wordpress 4.4.2.
I now the theme need to be updated so the latest version of this plugin can be installed but right now it is just not an option.
    Thank you.

Being an old version I cannot recall this as a bug, or if it was ever fixed, or if its just a conflict. All I can say, this appears to be working fine on my site, and I’m not aware of WC even affecting other post types.

Ensure site/home urls are set to https versions of your URL and disable woocommerce force/unforce ssl settings.

Thanks for responding. Wish we could just upgraded and make the whole thing go away.
I will try your advice and see what happens. I also am going to mark this as resolved since I don’t think it has to do with the plugin.
    Thanks for your help.
