    Hi, @webpart.

We sincerely apologize if your previous thread was closed without a reply.

From what I am understanding the issue is that, since updating the Astra theme, the font size values are not being respected on the front end. Is that correct?

Upon inspecting the specific heading you referenced in the image (“Acelere a transforma??o digital dos processos da sua empresa para ganhar eficiência e controlo nas opera??es“), it appears the font-size value is coming from wpo-minify. Can you temporarily disable this plugin so that we can inspect again?

In addition, for that specific heading, what should the font size be so that we have a point of reference to work from?

Lastly, as the issue occurred after updating Astra, indicating a possible conflict with the theme, have you contacted Astra’s support team regarding this issue?

If I have misunderstood the issue, please elaborate further (a brief screencast would be great). Looking forward to your reply so that we can better guide you.

    Kind Regards.

The content of your message is nonsense, to say the least.
You can see the entire sequence of messages in the ticket you closed.

I expect a very quick resolution to this problem, which has been pending for 2 months.

In short, the problem is that the pages are not using the site settings or the theme settings.
In Site settings – Typography, I changed the height of the lines H1 … H6 (they weren’t filled in) and saved it.
    Nothing has changed.

The problem persists after purging the minify cache and purging the cache of all pages.
It also persists after uninstalling the plugin used for these caches (WP-Optimize).
It also persists after uninstalling all plugins except Elementor.
Finally, it persists when changing the Astra theme to another theme, namely Hello.

I noticed that they have released version 3.22.0.
Unfortunately, the problem persists despite having been reported more than 2 months ago.

I can only spread a note advising against using the Elementor plugin.
Only because its support doesn’t work.

    Hello @webpart !
    Thank you for contacting us.

I was reading your previous conversation, and I understand it.

In this case, I was looking at your site and noticed you still have the WPO plugin as active, so we can’t really see where the custom styles are coming from (see here).
It would be really helpful if you temporarily disable the WP Optimize plugin, or create a staging site without this so we can continue debugging this situation.

I hope this can be useful.
Let me know if you have other questions related to Elementor.

    Regards.

The WP Optimize plugin is temporarily deactivated.
Naturally, I ask for urgency in the analysis.

The WP Optimize?plugin has now been activated again.
I hope you’ve had time to analyze what you wanted.

    Hi again @webpart !
Sorry for the delay in our responses.

In this case, we haven’t take a look at your site yet. So please, we’ll need you to disable the WPO plugin again.
As an alternative, you could create a staging site we could troubleshoot without affecting how your live site works.

    Please keep us pending.

The WPO plugin is disabled again.
Once again, I ask for urgency in the verification you intend to do.

    Hi @webpart,

    Thank you for the update.

According to the conversation, the issue is “The problem seems to be that Elementor isn’t getting the Theme’s default settings.”

I want to verify if you had Disable Elementor’s default fonts and colors, This will disable the Elementor defaults and make your theme’s colors and fonts the default.?

    https://elementor.com/help/disable-elementors-default-fonts-and-colors/

As additional steps, deactivate all the plugins except Elementor and see if there is any conflict with another third party plugin.

We are looking for your reply.

    Kind Regards.

    (@webpart)

Elementor’s default fonts and colors have always been disabled.

As I reported months ago, and again 1 week ago, the problem persists after uninstalling all plugins except Elementor.

Can I reactivate the WPO plugin to activate the cache again?
It’s urgent that we do this.

    Hi @webpart,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Upon inspection, it appears that the active theme is overriding the Elementor Site Settings and Styles. To determine if the issue is theme-related, please switch temporarily to a default WordPress theme, such as Twenty Twenty-One. Additionally, ensure you regenerate CSS data under Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS.

If the issue persists, deactivate all other plugins except Elementor to rule out conflicts. If the problem is resolved, reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the conflicting plugin. This process can help isolate the source of the issue.

Moreover, please check if there are any custom CSS rules that might be overriding Elementor’s styles. Custom CSS can often be found in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS or within the specific element’s custom CSS section in Elementor.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out.

    Kind regards,

Everything you ask me to do has already been done and passed on to Elementor support.
I strongly advise you to read the messages to avoid this type of situation, which only makes support look bad.

      The problem persists …

      Hi @webpart,

If the problem persists, I recommend reaching out to your hosting provider and asking them to purge the server cache. This can often resolve issues related to outdated or corrupted cache files.

Additionally, you can try deleting the existing .htaccess file on your website via FTP or your File Manager. After deleting the file, you can recreate it by resaving your site’s Permalinks settings. This can help resolve any potential configuration issues that might be causing the problem.

If the issue continues, you can reach out to our developers directly on GitHub for more specialized assistance: https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/new/choose.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

      Kind regards,

      Thread Starter webpart

      (@webpart)

First of all, we don’t have a hosting provider.
We have wordpress installed on our own webserver.

So all the caches have been purged and nothing has been solved.
On the other hand, rewriting the permalinks doesn’t create the deleted .htaccess file again.

As for the problem that persists, I’ve tried changing the typography in the site settings to H1…H6 and it doesn’t affect the titles used on pages with HTML H1…H6 tags either.

      (@webpart)

Since the problem was reported several months ago, and before you close this ticket without resolving it, we need to take stock of the situation.

Are you going to fix the problem or are you going to keep making the same suggestions that we’ve already answered so many times?
