    Hi Shawn,

The reason we disable the option is because bucket names are allowed to contain . characters, which causes errors on HTTPS. This is due to the Amazon S3 SSL certificate not covering those extra wildcard subdomains created by the period.

When using the subdirectory approach you need to specify the bucket region. The example URL you have provided will only work for US Standard buckets. In your cause it should be:

    https://s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/conversations-cms-public/wp-content/uploads/hello.jpg

WP Offload S3 should generate those subdirectory URLs correctly. Is this not the case?
