You are not allowed to save changes!

  • Hi, Love the plugin, it has been included in a theme I have purchased.

    Works great if you are an Administrator, but I can not set up the client as an Administrator as some restrictions are needed

    I have used Role Editor to create a custom Role called “Admin” AND despite giving that role 147/147 of capabilities available when logged in using the new role I am not able to add a location or a map – get the message:

    You are not allowed to save changes!

    What do I need to do to allow another role to be able to add maps/locations?

    @flippercode I am having this same issue. It looks like my WP Store Locator Pro plugin is preventing any other type of user from publishing posts, pages, etc. I receive the same message: “You are not allowed to save changes!”, regardless of the role capabilities I add to the user role.

    It only resolves when I make the user a site administrator.

    I ended up purchasing the pro version that has roles built into it…
