We tried to upload a new podcast today and we received this error message when trying to save as draft “You are not allowed to edit this post.”
we can created regular posts and publish them but not podcasts. Currently we have 90 published podcasts of about 29-40M each.

    I have:
    – deavtivated and reavticated the plug in.
    – Checked user permissions (they are administrators)
    – I can sucessfuly edit and publish normal posts and pages

I need help knowing where to look. or how to archive old podcasts so they can still be found but not clog up current data tables if that is the issue.

    Thanks Brad

I also just noticed that on the new podcast page the publish button says submit for review but I get the same error message when i click that. on a page or regular post I can publish just fine.

It sounds like there is something else on your site that is interfering with the user permissions. The podcast episodes have exactly the same permissions as the default post post type, so there must be something else on your site (another plugin most likely) that is affecting the user roles and permissions.

You will need to work that out on your side as this is not an issue with SSP.

    Cheers,
    Hugh
