    Hi, I hope you can help me with an installation issue. I have read all the similar posts and tried out what you have suggested to others with similar errors, but not luck so far.

    After installing (using the wordpress plugin installer) I get the following error message:

    EWWW Image Optimizer requires jpegtran, optipng or pngout, and gifsicle. You are missing: optipng. Please install via the Settings Page. If the one-click install links don’t work for you, try the Installation Instructions.

    With the following plugin status:
    jpegtran: OK?version: Independent JPEG Group’s JPEGTRAN, version 6b 27-Mar-1998
    optipng: MISSING?Copy binary from /mnt/stor4-wc1-dfw1/355822/www.ipodrepublic.com/web/content/wp-content/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/optipng-linux to /mnt/stor4-wc1-dfw1/355822/www.ipodrepublic.com/web/content/wp-content/ewww/optipng or to a system path (like /usr/local/bin), OR Download optipng source
    Graphics libraries – only need one, used for conversion, not optimization: GD: OK?? Imagemagick ‘convert’: OK
    safe mode: Off??exec(): OK??
    Only need one of these: finfo: OK??getimagesize(): OK??mime_content_type(): OK

    I have tried copying the binary, but no luck. My site is running on a Rackspace hosted server using Linux and Apache 2.2.

    Here is the link to the debug log: https://pastebin.com/m8Q4Jmyw

    Thanks for your help.

    Try the latest version of the plugin, it has another check for suhosin’s blacklist.

    If all else fails, it also has an all new ‘cloud’ option to offload the optimization (currently free during the BETA). But we’ll try a few other things before we give up.

    After you’ve upgraded to 1.6.0, there’s a couple more things we can check on:
    1. do you have shell/ssh access to your server?
    2. If not, can you create a file named test.php with the code below:
    <?php phpinfo(); ?>
    Put the file in your web folder, view it with your browser, and then pastebin the output.
