Any idea what could make the poll archive, and a test poll page, show absolutely nothing when viewed? I set up plugin options, and created a test poll with no problems, but when I try to view either the test poll or the default poll archive all I see is the page header section (menu, logo, etc). Nothing but the page background color appears below that.

This same exact situation occurs when I use WP-Polls plugin.

I installed YOP Poll on a site at home and it worked instantly. I was able to see the default page created on install, and its poll, no issues at all.

Unfortunately I can’t provide a link. I don’t have access to the site in question outside of the office. So I’m just hoping to get some insight into what could prevent me from seeing any poll content or styling on the page.

What Browser do you use at work?
What Version of wordpress do you use?

    Hi Runtheball,

If you can’t send the link, could you please send a screenshot?

    Chrome browser. WP 3.5.1.
There is literally nothing below the page’s header except a dark grey background color on the body element.

I’ve tried using a couple different YOP templates. Clearly this is some issue with my site, not the plugin, but I have no idea what might prevent the poll from appearing at all.

    Hi Runtheball,

Go to your poll archive page and see if you can find [yop_poll_archive].
If it’s not on that page, then add it.

If this doesn’t work, go to the “Templates” section and see if there are any templates listed.

    Best wishes,

[yop_poll_archive] is listed on the poll archive page.

The site has heavily modified page templates that must have been interfering. I’ve pulled in a new clean page template from a separate WP install, named it “Poll Page Template” and am using that instead. Now I can see the poll.

It was a matter of the site page templates interfering with the display of the polls. It had nothing to do with the YOP plugin.
    Everythings good now.
    Thanks
