    Hi!

I can’t edit pages build with Yootheme Pro page builder, if Popup maker plugin is enabled. I’m using Popup Maker through shortcode inside widget.

I’m getting this error in backend: https://ibb.co/SBY0KKR

Additionally I’m getting error 403 on frontend: https://ibb.co/yVdGrnv

If I disable Popup Maker both errors are gone.

I have also wrote on Yootheme support forum

Hi @esedic – thanks for reaching out and we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing this.

Looking at it, this?can?be caused by a conflict with the current theme or with any of your active plugins.

?I would now suggest you check out this documentation on how to Test if a Plugin or Theme Interferes with Popup Maker:?https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/332-test-whether-a-plugin-or-theme-interferes-with-popup-maker?This will provide you further insights.

If that helps then we would very much appreciate it if you could quickly rate the plugin, just to help us spread the word.

Otherwise, you can reach us directly to our HelpScout support desk. Check this link: https://wppopupmaker.com/support/ Thank you.

Before I reported this, I have checked theme compatibility with other plugins, I have also activated WP twentytwentyone theme and error 403 on frontend is still there. After I disable Popup Maker it is gone.

This right now a serious issue for me because it’s hurting SEO score badly.

Hi @esedic – thanks for sending further clarification.

The simple reason why we are seeing this 403 error on your website is that you are trying to access something you don’t have the permission for.

Throwing a 403 forbidden error is your website’s way of stating that you don’t have enough permissions to proceed further.

Now, the next step you will need to do is to reach out to your host to and ask them to check this for you. Note that they should be able to assist you further with this.

    Thank you.

    Hello @esedic,

Just to follow up. As @mariatogonon mentioned, we recommend you report the 403 error to your hosting provider if you haven’t yet.

You can learn more about 403 errors here https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-403-forbidden-error-in-wordpress/

Also, I wasn’t able to read your screen captures because of the low resolution.

When I visited your site, I didn’t see any errors on the English version. See below.

When I switched to Slovenian I saw the error. See below.

    https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5uAKKW5

The error points to this code as the source.

    https://share.getcloudapp.com/nOuP00kp

I confirmed on the browser console network tab that the 403 is only on the SL version.

Feel free to share this with your hosting provider to help them narrow down the root cause.

Please let us know what they find out.

    Thanks so much!

The problem was with server’s mod_security, which blocked some of the HTTP requests, now the backend and frontend error is gone, so it didn’t have anything to do with Yootheme Pro or Popup Maker.
