    Hi,

    I am using yoast_breadcrumb function in my theme as follows.

    return yoast_breadcrumb( '<p id="breadcrumbs">', '</p>' );

    I have changed the category from A to B, but yoast_breadcrumb still returns the previous category. I have tried to disable Yoast and reactivate, but the issue remains.

    My WordPress version is 5.4.2 and Yoast version is 14.7. I have tried Yoast Test Helper plugin, but it does not make any change.

    I find the key to this issue.

    If I changed the category using ‘Quick Edit’ at /wp-admin/, Yoast would return the previous one. But If I changed the category using ‘Edit’ at wp-admin/post.php, Yoast would return the new category. I am not sure about the difference between these two ways, but it may be a ‘bug’ of Yoast.

    Hi @jerparx ,

    I did clear all my site cache. I even tried to disable all my cache-related plugins. But this issue persists.

    Actully you can try it by yourself, if you change the category using ‘Quick Edit’ without editing the post, Yoast will return the previous category.

    I will creat a new issue at Github.
