Working with a client site, we had historically been using the native WP editor to build blogs. Our latest blogger used the WPBakery plugin. The Yoast SEO appears as ‘Not available’ for the blog posts using WPBakery editor. Is there a way to get the Yoast to be available with the WPBakery Editor. The theme for reference is Betheme

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @timnethersgmailcom,

Thank you for contacting Yoast Support.

I understand that you are working with a client’s site that is using WPBakery as a page builder and that the SEO analysis is partly or fully not functioning.

Please know that it’s up to the 3rd party page builder to integrate with us through our APIs so the actual content that is built in it is being scanned by our analysis. See https://yoast.com/help/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/ for more information.

But for WPBakery specifically, I think a lot of modules in the page builder should be functioning. If you get “SEO is not available” in a post/page – is there a focus keyphrase configured?

Hello there, thanks for getting back to me. Maybe I should have clarified, all of our articles the yoast section below the article appears, then disappears. I have made a screen recording and uploaded to youtube here, in the video I refresh the page to make it appear momentarily before disappearing:

Any tips? It’s like it’s blocked. BeTheme + Yoast + WPBakery.

    Hey @timnethersgmailcom,

Thank you for your reply and screencast, this really helps us understand the experience you get.

The fact that it loads fine first and then “crashes” is due to a Javascript conflict, this can be caused by your (child)theme or a plugin. Please follow our guide in investigating this here: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/
