Yoast WordPress SEO sitemap

  • i have Yoast WordPress SEO on my blog and it grnerate sitemap
    when a add the site map to google webmaster a warning say :

    When we tested a sample of the URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs were not accessible to Googlebot due to an HTTP status error. All accessible URLs will still be submitted.
    any one help ?

  • Adding a robots.txt file to your server might help. Also make sure you aren’t blocking Search Engines via WordPress. You can find this option in your Dashboard under Settings > Reading.

    robots.txt did not work
    but checking if i am blocking search engine , are you sure about Settings > Reading – because nothing in Settings > Reading about search engine

    Yes, Settings > Reading. There is a checkbox for Search Engine Visibility. Make sure that is unchecked.

    i am using yoast seo plugin if that help you !
