• ### What did you expect to happen?
    be able to access my plugins.php page

    ### What happened instead?
    after upgrading YOAST SEO form 3.0.7 to 3.1.2, can’t access plugins.php (get 500 error) and error in logs:
    [08-Apr-2016 06:32:00 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/polylang/modules/wpml/wpml-compat.php on line 404

    increasing php memory does not help.

    ### How can we reproduce this behavior?
    try installing polylang 1.8.5 and YOAST SEO 3.1.2 and access plugins.php

    ### Technical info
    * WordPress version: 4.4.2
    * Yoast SEO version: 3.1.2
    * Polylang 1.8.5

    Thank you

    Hi
    I tested with Polylang 1.8.5 + Yoast 3.1.2 + WP 4.4.2 and I have accessed without any problem to /wp-admin/plugins.php.

    128 mb could be problematic if you have too many installed plugins and a theme which uses a lot of memory.

    You could try a quick solution to see if it’s a memory size problem. Disable some plugins, you can even switch on Twenty Sixteen and check if you have still this issue.
    If the issue has disappear, you need to increase your memory size.

    Thanks Chrysti for checking it out.
    I have tried up to 1024M of memory limit. Then the problem becomes the max_execution_time. When that is set to 300s (5min) then the request eventually times out in the browser I guess and without further error logged. Sounds like some serious memory allocation loop going on.

    Some more digging shows with polylang 1.8.5 and keeping YOAST 3.1.2 activated but deactivating Lingotek also resolves the issue of accessing the plugins.php.

    Could you please forward this to the Lingotek’s support?
