    Dear developers,

I am not a webmaster and nor I have much experience with these kind of things, just the basics.

My problem is about yoast sitemaps, I have got:
    – mydomain.nl/
    – mydomain.nl/en
    – mydomain.nl/en/

A little solution was when I hit ”english” in the head menu and i select pages and quick edit, I could change the slug of the homepage to something else, which made /en/ disappear.

So basicly im using a premium theme ”impreza” with yoast, wpml and wpml string translation, both plugins are compatible with this theme.

Also the Dutch homepage version shows as 80% priority and the /en shows as 100% priority with an empty: ”last modified” I dont know whats going on or why the sitemap is acting like this.

I cannot provide a public URL here because I’m working semi-local to prevent indexation by google.

Also i have readed many forums and topics about this matter, here I will share a link which shows exactly the same problem as I have. https://wpml.org/forums/topic/after-last-wpml-update-yoast-sitemap-generates-duplicate-home-page-url-problem/

    I hope for help soon,

    thanks in advance!
