Hello. I have the current version of All In One SEO 4.1.5.3 and the latest WP update 5.8.2. I have followed the instructions in this article https://yoast.com/all-in-one-seo-pack-migration/ to import data from All In One Seo to Yoast. When I do the import it states that the migration was a success, but no data is transferred.

I then tried the SEO Data Transporter plugin per instructions. However, even though it said files were transferred, it did not work. It seems that others have had issues with this plugin not working either.

What is required to get the proper data to migrate from AIOSEO to Yoast?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @byshea

All In One SEO made a huge overhaul in version 4.0, and it also introduced new custom data. The Yoast SEO plugin also has its own custom data tables in the indexables.

The importing function just used to use the data from post_meta to import but this is no longer working as expected with the recent changes to how the data is stored. We’re aware of this issue and are working on a future update for our importer and exporter function to work with other SEO plugins. While we can’t provide an exact timeframe or ETA as to when this would be addressed, please do check the changelog for future plugin updates, enhancements, and bug fixes. We apologize for this inconvenience.
