  • Hi,

We are not sure exactly what happened but we do know the “Failed to Open Stream” issue occurs when the plugin installation or update couldn’t complete correctly. The fatal error is telling you that the plugin couldn’t find one of the core Yoast SEO plugin files. In this case, you please reinstall it manually to see if this resolves the issue? You can find the guideline here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/#manual
