Yoast update failed

    Hello, I just updated Yoast and it said it failed. Then when I went to my pages and plugins Yoast does not appear. I then tried to re-install and it said files already exist. Please can someone assist.

  • We apologize for the trouble you are experiencing with our plugin.?This happens when?the plugin is already installed, if a file is missing or corrupt, or if you have renamed the wp-content folder or the wp-content/plugins folder.

    The failure happened during an update. I eventually uploaded the wordpress seo file from my previous backup and it works now.
