    Hello! Since I downloaded the new update of Yoast, it turned grey. It doesn’t work anymore.
    All my previous entries are still greenlighted but when I try to update them, the Yoast section is just empty.
    It’s the same when I go the yoast menu in the back-office. It’s empty.

    I tried to desactivate/activate but it didn’t change a thing.

    Is that a bug of the update? Is there a way to fix it?

    I’m on a free plan so I can’t access the support. Help me?

    Thanks

    Funny enough, it seems to only appear when I’m using Chrome. It looks fine on Firefox.

    Hi @crownheights,

    This seems to be browser specific. Unfortunately, we are unable to reproduce the issue with the latest version of Chrome v69.0 in our testing environment. If you use Incognito, are you getting the same behavior? If you update your Chrome, does the issue resolve?

    Hello!

    Actually, the issue solved itself at the end of the week. The Console showed some Javascript errors but they disappeared overnight and the Health Check showed nothing wrong.

    Now I have some trouble with the way the social networks’ icons are displayed on my website (squares instead of the pictures) but I don’t know if it’s Yoast-related. However, it did start with the Yoast update so, who knows? It’s the same on every browser and even in incognito mode.

    Hi.

    The same problem happens to me as well. Since I updated to the new version of Yoast SEO, is appearing a gray ball (in all browsers) with the following message:

    Yoast SEO was unable to collect the indexing status of your site on Ryte

    How to solve this?

    @crownheights. Regarding the problem of social networking icons appear squares instead of photos, I solved this by adding the following code in the hatacess file:

    ## Fix Simple Social Icons for Firefox ##
    <FilesMatch “\.(ttf|otf|eot|woff)$”>
    <IfModule mod_headers.c>
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*”
    </IfModule>
    </FilesMatch>

    @ceslad The Ryte indexability status check isn’t related to this issue. Therefore, we recommend you please submit a new thread and we’d be happy to assist you.

    @crownheights If the social icons are not working, this is probably specific to your theme or 3rd party social media related plugins as Yoast SEO doesn’t output any social media icons in the front end part.

    @mazedulislamkhan.

    I already created a new topic on the problem: Yoast SEO was not able to collect the indexing status of your site in Ryte
