Thanks for sharing the relevant screenshot with us. We can now understand the issue better.

The blank meta box issue you are currently experiencing typically occurs due to a javascript conflict. So, we’d like you to please perform a conflict check first. This will help us narrow down the exact cause and determine what the next steps are while saving you time.

You can find the step by step guide for performing a conflict check here https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/

I made the health test. By activating only the Yoast Plugin in Troubleshooting mode i get the same issue..

@hkruse When you tested the issue with the Health Check plugin, did the issue still occur when using a default theme such as TwentyNineteen and only the Yoast SEO plugin active?

    Thread Starter hkruse

    (@hkruse)

    yes…same issue with TwentyNineteen

    Hi,

Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

If all are updated and the issue still happens when Yoast is the only plugin active AND your theme is 2019, based on the information you provided, we expect this to be a bug. We’re actively using the bug tracking on our GitHub repository so your best next step would be to create a new issue for our developers at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new.

You will need an account to create a new issue. If this is your first bug report, please check out: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/.

it sounds very complicated…for me it seems easier to use another SEO plugin.
All post with these issues in the past are unsolved…

We understand the concern regarding trying to troubleshoot the issue. However, we are not able to reproduce it. On our testing site the Yoast Metabox loads. See image: https://ibb.co/fnqtQKp

We can see we had previously asked for a conflict check to be performed and it was stated “yes…same issue with TwentyNineteen”.

As a result if the issue is still happening when everything is updated there is some kind of issue with the plugin on your site.

In this manner, we need your help. We invite you to please make a report for our developers as we are not able to reproduce it.
