yoast shows archives in google

We understand that you want to get rid of some archives in the google results. You can noindex them in the plugin Search Appearance settings. We have some documentation on this here: https://yoast.com/help/how-do-i-noindex-urls/.

You can also change the archive titles under SEO → Search Appearance → Taxonomies or Archives (tabs). By default the ‘archives’ is part of the archive titles, you can edit them there as you want.
