• I recently moved my website from one hosting provider to another and i did so by using wpvivid plugin, i saved the back-up and restored it into another fresh wordpress install. The domain however was the same.
After i did all that yoast SEO plugin stopped responding, i can still use the SEO analysis feature, but i can’t click on any of the menu icon, for example Taxonomies, Search appearances, webmaster tools or anything, whenever i click on anything a a hashtag appears on he URL tab but nothing happens.

    Hi @umair1225

Did you see the two options before the restore started?

    • Restore and replace the original domain (URL) with test, com (migration)
    • Restore and keep the original domain (URL) unchanged
    • If you did, which option did you choose?

    Hi @umair1225

You should choose the first option because it’s essentially a migration from a different site.

WPvivid migrates the website, but it doesn’t resolve the domain name to the new server. You will need to do that from your domain provider’s website.

    Hi @umair1225

Have you tried to re-install the Yoast plugin?

twice, doesn’t seem to work. I deactivated the plugin and also tried deleting it first then installing it again.

Sorry, but we are not able to find other practical alternative solutions now.

    All the best,
