  • Hi @acidburnsmk ,

We are sorry to hear about the slow queries on your database. Can you please confirm if your site is running the latest WordPress 5.5.3? Does your site meet the plugin requirements listed here?

When you reset the indexables and start the optimization again, does it resolve the issue?

    1. Install and activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin.
    2. Go to the Tools → Yoast Test → Yoast SEO and click on the “Reset indexables tables & migrations” button.
    3. Go to SEO → Tools and run the “Start SEO data optimization”.

Is it safe to run “Start SEO data optimization” on blog page with +250000 posts?

For the sites with larger posts like yours, we suggest running the indexing process using WP CLI.
