YOAST SEO sitemap not working with nextgen gallery plugin

  • Hi

    My sitemap page is not working.
    I am getting this error in firefox.

    XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
    b[c] += ( window.postMessage && request ? ‘ ‘ : ‘ no-‘ ) + cs;

    When i deactivate nextgen gallery, it works great.
    I have look for all avaiable solutions but nothing is working.
    I am using latest version of yoast and nextgen

    Can you pls look on it?

    I am using WP 3.6 and latest versions of Yoast and Nextgen plugins

    Yes exactly it crashes the sitemap_index.xml completely even if you disable the nextgen for the listing in that sitemap.

    btw even version 2.0.18 does not solve that issue. Very disappointing again !

    I also am having this issue – if anyone figures out a solution I would be interested in hearing about it.

    traced it back:
    the first appearance of the bug comes with version 2.0.11

    I reinstalled version 2.0.7 – works fine.

    Would be great if the fix would come with the next release ??

    I have tried with Nextgen 2.0.21 and WP 3.6.1.
    At the begining it seems to work. I had a nggsitemap (dared 1970??). But shortly it went back to the same error when I try to reach the sitemaps.

    Is there any chance to get this fixed soon? Going back to 2.0.7 isn’t obvious in some cases.

    I have this error:

    XML Parsing Error: no element found
    Line Number 1, Column 1: ^

    No cache plugin installed. Also the Yoast plugin breaks my permalink somewhere, because suddenly my blog homepage https://www.jacktummers.nl/blog/ was going into a loop.

    I somehow never had succes with the WordPress SEO plugin and I’m using the Google XML Sitemaps for years now, together with Genesis SEO. Why not add another compatible sitemap plugin for NextGen sitemaps, not just one? Personally I also think the WordPress SEO plugin is too much of Yoast…
