Yoast SEO plugin broke my wife's WP dashboard

My wife went to update her site and got the white screen of death when she logged into her dashboard. The site displayed fine but the dashboard was just a white screen.

Following advice I have seen elsewhere I disabled all plugins and re-enabled them one-by-one. As soon as the Yoast plugin was re-enabled, the dashboard screen went white. The Yoast SEO plugin was just updated and I suspect that update broke her dashboard.

I am not requesting advice. Just letting others know that if you encounter the same problem and are using the Yoast SEO plugin, that should be the first place to look.

I understand why Yoast would not want to be contacted directly but I would have let him know about the problem privately so he could address it. Instead he will find out about it along with everyone else.

Now I need to find an alternate SEO plugin.
