If I change Yoast SEO link, it changes our permalink up top… :/

for example the up top permalink is:

    example.com/car-brands/honda

down at the bottom in Yoast SEO it shows

    example.com/honda

… If I change Yoast to example.com/car-brands/honda, it changes the permalink up top to example.com/car-brands/car-brandshonda

    :/

It’s driving me insane. Any ideas?

bump for this issue. If you try to add your post type to the example above it renders it out twice in the permalink.

    domainname.com/example/<post-name>

it becomes redundent and adds it twice.. so its domainname.com/example/example/<post-name>

Hey, could you try Yoast SEO 3.1 (released today) and see if that improves things?

    Hello Man,

Unfortunately it has not fixed the issue. I’ve tried many times. It seems Yoast isn’t pulling the parent page title into its link. It seems to be happening with all parent and children in this theme. Gauge is the theme.

I realize you’re quite busy, but if you wish to try and debug on my site, I can give access. My email [ Email deleted and please stop bumping ]

    Regards
