Yoast sitemap is having issues capturing all the URLs of my site. The site has more than 30k page which should be included in sitemap but the Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster tool both are showing only 9k URLs discovered in sitemap.

When opening the sitemap I can’t access a few of the category sitemap (the URLs that are missing, magically)

    https://savingsays.com/sitemap_index.xml

Also, I’m unable to access Yoast > Settings where I can diagnose the issue. The settings page refused to open and kept loading. This dropped URL/sitemap issue appeared on 16 September after the Google update. Before that it was fine. I’ve tried everything but nothing seems to be working.

Can you please help me. Why aren’t pages getting discovered and the sitemap is not showing the URLs.

I also checked the robot.txt file but there’s no issue. How do I solve this problem. Kindly help.

    Hello @bilal7k

Thanks for reaching out about your sitemap. I have addressed your concerns below:

The site has more than 30k page which should be included in sitemap

Can you share of some of the page URLs that are missing from the sitemap?

When opening the sitemap I can’t access a few of the category sitemap (the URLs that are missing, magically)

In the category sitemap here, there are 19 URLs. Could you share some of the magically missing URLs?

I’m unable to access Yoast > Settings where I can diagnose the issue. The settings page refused to open and kept loading.

Can you try to access the Settings page directly from this URL? https://savingsays.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_page_settings

I also checked the robot.txt file but there’s no issue.

Your robots.txt file doesn’t meet our recommended guidelines. You may want to review the directives to ensure the pages you have excluded aren’t the same as what’s missing in the sitemap.

The link isn’t working either, same issue. (kept reloading and then carshes)

These are the sitemaps that are not opening. From this: https://savingsays.com/stores-sitemap.xml to this: https://savingsays.com/stores-sitemap26.xml

Since there are 1000 URLs in each sitemap, that comes to 26k URLs. What is the issue. (Also it’s the same loading error I’m facing while accessing Yoast > Setting)

And No, the pages excluded with robot.txt aren’t the same as missing pages.

I am sorry you couldn’t access the settings page with the URL I shared.

    https://savingsays.com/stores-sitemap.xml?to this:?https://savingsays.com/stores-sitemap26.xml

    Visiting the stores sitemap, I experienced a 302 & a 307 redirect before landing on https://savingsays.com/500.html, which is a 404 page.

Since you have a Yoast SEO Premium installed, please contact our support team for assistance, as we would need to look at your specific setup.
