Yoast SEO installation failure. Folder already exist…! Need help!

  • I am trying to install Yoast SEO to try to get rid of some issues with posting on Facebook. (no preview pic, all categories and date etc included istead of my text in the short version etc.) But when I try to install Yoast SEO it will not let me, it just says installation failed and that folder already exists. Any thoughts of how to work around this withut getting too technical?

    I have a WordPress website. The Theme is Art My Web and it has recently been updated and i have the latest version of WordPress 4.7, I have been trying to Install the Yoast SEO Plugin.

    The Plugin will not install, the only response that i am getting is “Install Failed” and nothing else. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i Installed another plugin and had no problems.
