Hi, I updated Yoast SEO to version 22.8, and now the plugin WordPress Editorial Calendar 3.8.5 fails to load. I changed my calendar to PublishPress Planner 4.2.1, but again that will not initialise if Yoast SEO is activated. I have deleted and reinstalled all these, and cleared caches in WordPress and Firefox 127 without success. WordPress is version 6.5.4 en_GB. Suggestions, please.

    Hello @mostlyfoodgw

I’m sorry about your experience. Can you provide us with steps to replicate the issue?

Thanks. I cannot backtrack on my steps, as I did a string of plugin updates all at once, so I’ve no idea where the fault crept in. I updated Yoast to version 22.9 yesterday (after trying some earlier versions, too) but that did not resolve the conflict.

I am not expert enough to diagnose errors/corruption at a deeper level, so regrettably I have had to go to another SEO plugin. I assume that the fault is due to some file corruption on my side, and that Yoast itself is fine.

Follow-up: Rolled the site back to a stable version of 9th June and all is working correctly, including Yoast at v.22.0, and WordPress Editorial Calendar v. 3.8.5, so will work slowly forward to update one step at a time!

    Resolved.
