• Hi,
I have just started using WordPress and I installed Yoast SEOa month ago, but now is suddenly gone. At least not visible anywhere. When I try installing the plugin again…it says that it could not open the folder? I also tried to download it on my local computer and the upload the .zip-file but nada.
    Help me out please.
    Best regards
    Dragoslav

  • Hi,

Maybe you just disabled it from menu with plugin like Adminize?

    Try access https://YOURSITE/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_dashboard.

Maybe your server have problems with FTP at the moment (if free server it’s very often that you can’t install plugins, if localhost you need modify your wp-config.php).

When you are uploading plugin manually, you first have to unzip it and upload just folder to /wp-content/plugins/ like others are.
Yoast SEO should be in /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/

    Hi

My Yoast Plugin has also disappeared in the last week or so. When I try to install it again it says that the folder already exists.

I have no idea how to resolve this. Neither of the links you mention in the above Odie2 work for me – it says I don’t have enough permision to access the folder…

Any help would be gratefully received.

Just delete the folder from plugin folder in your cpanel.then again install it can. if using page builder in your theme there is Richtext conflict with Yoast and wont work.

Thank you. How do I access my cpanel?

The strangest thing happened. I could not resolve the problem with the Yoast, so I tried to download another one All-In-One SEO…the download went okay, but when I tried to activate it, everything went blank…this site: https://www.lauvasenif.no/wordpress/wp-login.php?loggedout=true (where I edit my site) and the temporary page https://www.lauvasenif.no/wordpress. What am I supposed to do now?

So I realised that cpanel means control panel which I can access via my hosting company. So I found my file manager within my control panel, deleted the folder and then installed Yoast again, and it worked fine. I also disabled Page Builder, but I have no idea how I can build a WordPress web page without it? Seems weird that the 2 don’t work together since I have had them both working in tandem for more than a year already??

    @djdragis

Probably a conflict between the two seo plugins. Use your cPanel to delete the WordPress SEO (or perhaps now Yoast SEO) directory from:

    wp-oontent
              plugins
