In the meantime, we have changed the product detail URLs to get around whatever cached redirects must have been in place and added Redirection plugin redirects from the old URLs to the new URLs. Would still like to know how to get rid of those Yoast SEO redirects so that we could potentially go back to the previous URLs.

    Hello @cayennedev

I’m sorry about the unwanted redirects. Unfortunately, I couldn’t test/reproduce as it seems you have uninstalled the Yoast SEO.

When you use the PHP redirect method, the Yoast SEO plugin stores the redirects on the page itself and also keeps a copy in the database. The Yoast redirects are stored in the wp_options table of the WordPress database. Can you please delete the redirects from there?
