Follow-up: I’ve created a page on one site in the network, then broadcasted it to another site on the network. The Yoast SEO fields were not broadcast to the child page, so I manually entered the SEO data. I then made a change to the parent page. After updating the parent page, I discovered that the data I manually entered into the Yoast SEO fields on the child page had been completely deleted. Blank fields. This = Bad. How do I fix? Anyone?

Bump. We are Yoast SEO users also.

    Us too, thanks. ??

How are the SEO fields stored? Starting with underscores?

Look at the setting “Custom field exceptions”.

Edward, didn’t see your response until just now.

It looks like the Yoast SEO fields do, in fact, start with underscores. There are quite a few, all of which start with “_yoast.” Is there a way to wildcard “_yoast[whatever]” in the “Custom field exceptions”?

No wildcards. If you need that feature coded you can email me for some custom work.

New question: I don’t actually need ThreeWP Broadcast to broadcast the Yoast SEO fields so much as I need it to NOT delete existing data in said fields on child pages when a parent post is updated. Is there a fix for this?

Addendum: The post directly above actually isn’t a new question; it’s the original question. It’s been so long since I first asked it, however, that I apparently forgot what I was asking.
I just want ThreeWP Broadcast to leave the SEO fields alone instead of deleting them. Doesn’t make any sense to me why the content of those fields is getting nuked.

Further clarification: I specifically do NOT want ThreeWP Broadcast to broadcast the SEO fields across all linked pages, as each linked page has unique SEO info; I just want it to leave the fields alone completely.

All custom fields are removed automatically.

If you want that problem solved then some custom work will have to be done.

    Email me.
