• I have recently started using the Yoast SEO Plugin (1.6.3) and I think I’m making some good progress. However, there are some components in the Page Analysis that don’t make sense to me.

    1. Why is the recommended minimum word count in the “body copy” as high as 300? I have provided a full description of relevant information, but I’m only at 169 words. Why does this matter? It would seem that being brief is better than being longwinded.

    2. The SEO Title changes the page name. Let’s say I’m using the focus keyword “spanish instructor”. Since I’m advised to include this keyword in the SEO Title, I might use e.g. “Spanish Instructor at ABC Language School” as the SEO Title. However, that changes the page name to “Spanish Instructor at ABC Language School”. However, I had originally named the page “About” and would like to retain that name. Can someone explain the reasoning behind this? Is there something I’m missing, such as settings that would retain the original page name?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks.
