On a lot of our pages we have our pages structured using the content modules options in WordPress to display images and text. When our Yoast SEO evaluates the pages, it says the text length is 0 even though there is clearly text on the page. Why is Yoast SEO not able to read text form content modules? If it can’t, does that mean search engines can’t crawl the text either or is it still able to crawl these pages?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @smckittrick

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin.

We have our pages structured using the content modules options in WordPress to display images and text

I suspect you are referring to the Genesis Blocks, a collection of page-building blocks for the Gutenberg block editor. However, Yoast SEO analyzes the default WordPress content areas like the title, URL, the main content box (WordPress editor).

Since you are adding your content through another plugin’s block, the Yoast SEO may not be able to detect it by default. Currently, we are compatible with the Elementor page builder. The?Yoast SEO Elementor integration?is free to use for everyone; no premium or add-on is required for core functionality.

Although our plugin does not detect your content and shows an incorrect analysis report, this does not affect how search engines crawl and analyze your site. Search engines process the front end of your site and will detect your content.
