After installing and going through the setup wizard, the Post and Pages readability & SEO analysis aren’t working as intended.
Instead of showing the readability status of each post and the score, it’s gone from 2 columns to 1 column with a new icon.

When going to “Screen Options” it says “# links in post”.

All features on Yoast SEO is enabled as default.

Whenever opening a post inside the admin center it’s not showing any settings related to Yoast SEO, such as readability analysis and meta data.

I’ve tried to disable all other plugins installed to troubleshoot the issue, but no success.
I’ve also tired to uninstall the plugin and delete all left behind data inside both website root and SQL data associated with the plugin. I’m guessing there are some data that I haven’t found, as whenever I reinstall the plugin all settings goes back to whatever they were before I reinstalled.

Another issue is that I’m not able to save changes in Search Apperance. Whenever saving it goes back to default settings. This applies to everything in Search apperance such as SEO title, meta description, company name, ect, ect.

Could you please check on the settings below:

Please check that your admin hasn’t disabled the SEO and Readability analysis for your users. Please go to your WordPress dashboard, and then navigate to Users > All Users > Edit > Yoast SEO Settings and seeing that the Disable SEO & Readability analysis isn’t ticked?

Can you please confirm that the SEO and Readability are enabled on the posts? You can check this by going to your WordPress dashboard, and then going to SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types and seeing that the Yoast SEO Meta box says “show”?

With regards to your other issue about the changes not saving in Search Appearance, we would recommend doing a conflict check.

    Please perform the following:
    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.

If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.
